Compare Party Bus Rentals in Simi Valley
Santamariapartybuscompany.com is not a bus company — and that's genuinely great news for you. It's a quote-comparison website that pulls together options from a large network of independently owned transportation companies serving Santa Maria and the surrounding Central Coast, so you can see different buses, sizes, and price ranges all in one place. Instead of calling a dozen separate companies, describing your trip over and over, and waiting on callbacks that never quite line up — you fill out one quick form and compare everything in seconds.
It doesn't matter if you need a 14-passenger Sprinter limo for a bachelorette weekend in wine country, a 15-to-35-passenger minibus for a corporate shuttle between the Santa Maria Valley and Santa Barbara, or a full 40-to-56-passenger charter bus for a Chumash Casino group night — this site connects you to the options that fit your headcount, your date, and your budget. Call 805-998-2860 any time, any day, to talk through your options and get a free quote with zero pressure.

Your Simi Valley Bus Rental With Popular Amenities
Different trips call for very different setups. A 25-passenger party bus heading through the Santa Ynez Valley wine corridor typically comes with perimeter seating, color-changing LED lighting, a premium sound system with Bluetooth, and flat-panel TVs. A minibus shuttling a corporate group between Santa Maria and a Santa Barbara conference brings reclining seats, climate control, and overhead storage without the nightclub interior.
Charter buses built for longer runs — say, Santa Maria to Los Angeles for a concert at the Kia Forum — add undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms so no one's asking for a pit stop on the 101. Amenities vary by vehicle and provider, and the online form lets you filter for exactly what your group needs.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats

Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. Simi Valley Party Bus Rates Built for Your Budget
Santa Maria party bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, the day of week, your total hours, and how far out you book. To give you a general planning range: a minibus rental runs roughly $200–$275 per hour on weekdays and $200–$275 per hour on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus typically runs $250–$350 per hour on weekdays and $275–$375 on weekends.
A charter bus for a longer haul generally falls in the $200–$350 per hour range. Per-day rates vary from roughly $1,100 for a minibus up to $4,050 for a larger party bus.
Those are planning ranges — not quotes. Your exact price moves with your specific date, route, and vehicle. The fastest way to get a pricing estimate for your trip is to call 805-998-2860 or use the online form — pricing for your specific itinerary takes about a minute.

One Quick Search, Your Simi Valley Party Bus Options
The honest answer is options. Santamariapartybuscompany.com pulls from a network of transportation companies serving Santa Maria, Lompoc, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and the entire surrounding region — so you're never boxed into a single fleet's availability. If one company doesn't have a 30-passenger party bus free on the Saturday of the Santa Barbara Wine Festival, another one in the network might. That breadth of inventory is the whole reason the site exists.
Beyond options, there's speed. Online quotes come back in under 30 seconds. No account needed.
No commitment. A support team is available every day of the year to build a custom package around your headcount, your date, and your exact stops — whether that's a single-venue drop-off at the Chumash Casino Resort or a multi-stop wine tour that weaves through the Santa Ynez Valley wine corridor and back. One-way trips, round-trips, full-day packages — all available.
Call 805-998-2860 and a quote takes about a minute. What's easier than that?

Simi Valley Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Santa Maria sits roughly equidistant between San Luis Obispo Regional Airport (SBP) and Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) — each about 35–40 minutes up or down the 101 — and both handle connecting traffic through LAX, which sits about two and a half hours south. For groups flying into SBP or SBA and then heading to a winery, a Chumash Casino weekend, or a multi-day Central Coast itinerary, juggling multiple rideshares or renting a fleet of cars turns into a logistics problem fast. One minibus or charter bus keeps the group together from curbside to the first stop, with undercarriage bays to handle luggage for 20-plus travelers without making anyone check bags under the coach.
Have your group coordinator gather everyone at baggage claim before calling for the vehicle — timing the bus to a large group's arrival is much easier than chasing stragglers across two different terminals. Find Santa Maria airport transportation options and get a quote in about a minute by calling 805-998-2860.

Simi Valley Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
The Santa Ynez Valley wine corridor — Los Olivos, Solvang, Ballard, and the stretch of Foxen Canyon Road north of Santa Maria — is one of the most concentrated wine-touring regions on the Central Coast, and it's entirely accessible without setting foot on a freeway. For bachelorette groups based in Santa Maria, a party bus that loops through Solvang and the tasting rooms along Alamo Pintado Road handles the whole day without anyone navigating two-lane wine-country roads after dark. Bachelor groups heading to the Chumash Casino Resort (3400 E Highway 246, Santa Ynez, CA 93460) get the same benefit — no one splits off to drive themselves, the group stays together from the first pickup to the last drop-off, and nobody ends up stuck at the casino trying to figure out a late-night Uber from Cuyama.
A 25-passenger party bus with LED lighting and premium sound is the natural fit for a group of 15-to-25 celebrating in wine country. Find Santa Maria bachelor and bachelorette transportation options and get a quote in about a minute.

Simi Valley Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
Quinceañeras and Sweet 16 celebrations in Santa Maria tend to run big — large extended families, multiple venue stops between the church ceremony and the reception hall, and late-night pickups that make coordinating a dozen personal vehicles a genuine headache. A party bus sized for 20 to 40 passengers keeps the core group moving together between the ceremony, the photo stop, and the reception without anyone getting separated or arriving late. For adult milestone birthdays — a 30th or 40th heading out for dinner and a night in Santa Barbara — a 14-passenger Sprinter limo hits the right note: premium leather, individual lighting, and a polished arrival at State Street without the parking hunt.
A 40-passenger party bus on weekends runs roughly $325–$500 per hour — split across a large quinceañera guest list, that's a price per person that's hard to beat. Find Santa Maria birthday party bus rentals and compare options instantly at 805-998-2860.

Simi Valley Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Most of the region's biggest concert venues sit well outside Santa Maria's city limits, and that's exactly where a charter bus earns its keep. The Santa Barbara Bowl (1122 N Milpas St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103) is a 70-year-old outdoor amphitheater carved into the foothills above downtown Santa Barbara — beautiful setting, notoriously limited parking, and a post-show exit that backs up on Milpas Street for a long time after the last note. Charter buses load on surface streets nearby while the general lot clears, which means your group is moving while everyone else is still sitting.
Vina Robles Amphitheatre (3800 Mill Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446) is another 90-minute run up the 101 and draws big acts in a 3,300-seat wine-country setting — with limited lot space that goes fast on sold-out nights. A bus to Vina Robles means your group rides together, arrives together, and doesn't split up hunting for rideshares in a rural Paso Robles parking lot after midnight. Find Santa Maria concert transportation options and compare rates today.

Simi Valley Corporate Event Transportation
Santa Maria is the commercial center of the northern Santa Barbara County economy — Vandenberg Space Force Base is the region's largest employer, and a significant number of aerospace and defense contractors shuttle personnel between Santa Maria, Lompoc, and Point Conception regularly. For corporate groups heading south to the Santa Barbara conference circuit or north to San Luis Obispo for off-site meetings, a minibus eliminates the coordination overhead of multiple rental cars while keeping the team together and on schedule. A 15-to-35-passenger minibus works well for executive shuttles between the Santa Maria Inn and downtown Santa Barbara — about 65 miles and under 75 minutes on light-traffic 101.
For larger staff events at the Santa Maria Fairpark or multi-day off-sites, a full charter bus with overhead storage and climate control handles the load without the luggage scramble. Find Santa Maria corporate transportation options and call 805-998-2860 to build a custom package around your schedule.

Simi Valley Private Event Transportation Services
The Santa Maria Valley hosts several events each year where getting there becomes its own logistical project. The Santa Barbara County Fair at the Santa Maria Fairpark (937 S Thornburg St, Santa Maria, CA 93458) runs in late July and fills the surface lots around Fairpark Drive quickly — a charter bus drops your group at the main entrance while your group skips the parking loop entirely. The Elks Rodeo and Parade, held each May in Santa Maria, draws crowds that back up the downtown street grid in both directions.
And for groups making the trip to the Pismo Beach Clam Festival each October or the Pacific Coast Dream Machines show in Half Moon Bay, a charter bus on the 101 keeps 40 or 50 people together for a fraction of the cost of that many individual cars. Find Santa Maria private event transportation options and call 805-998-2860 to build a package around your specific date and headcount.

Simi Valley Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Santa Maria has several large high schools — Pioneer Valley, Santa Maria High, and Righetti among them — and all of them hold prom within a short spring window between late April and mid-May. That concentration of demand on the same regional calendar, plus the fact that Simi Valley and Santa Barbara prom seasons overlap with the Central Coast, means the best vehicles book out fast. For prom, booking in January or February is strongly recommended — waiting until March or April typically means higher rates and far fewer options.
A 20-to-30-passenger party bus is the most popular size for a prom group, running roughly $275–$425 per hour on weekends in that range. The bus handles both the pre-prom dinner run and the post-prom pickup without anyone's parent drawing the short straw to drive. Find Santa Maria prom transportation options and lock in your date before the calendar fills up — call 805-998-2860 to get started.

Simi Valley School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Santa Maria school groups have a rich set of field trip destinations within a 90-minute bus radius — the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History (2559 Puesta del Sol, Santa Barbara, CA 93105), the Pacific Conservatory Theatre (PCPA) at Allan Hancock College right in Santa Maria (800 S College Dr, Santa Maria, CA 93454), and Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach for younger grades. A charter bus with overhead bins and onboard restrooms makes the run from Santa Maria to Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo without a roadside stop, keeping the schedule tight for day trips. For student-athlete travel — travel softball, basketball, or speech and debate tournaments at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo — a 40-to-56-passenger charter bus handles the gear and the team in one vehicle instead of splitting across a parade of personal cars driven by parent volunteers.
ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network; just mention it when you request a quote. Find Santa Maria school event bus rentals and get a quote by calling 805-998-2860.

Simi Valley Sporting Event Transportation
The closest major professional sports venue to Santa Maria is Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson — about two and a half hours south on the 101 and 405 — and anyone who has tried that drive on a game-day Saturday knows how badly I-405 through the South Bay can bottleneck before kickoff. A charter bus from Santa Maria to an LA Galaxy match or a Chargers game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood puts the whole group in one vehicle on the freeway while someone else figures out the navigation. SoFi Stadium's bus and charter drop-off uses Century Boulevard approach corridors coordinated per event; check the official SoFi Stadium transportation page before your visit for current lane assignments.
Closer to home, a minibus for a UC Santa Barbara Gauchos game at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara is a short 65-mile run on the 101 — easy enough that the whole group can ride down together and ride back without anyone missing the post-game. Find Santa Maria sporting event transportation and get a quote in about a minute at 805-998-2860.

Simi Valley Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
The Santa Ynez Valley and the Santa Maria wine country produce some of the most sought-after outdoor wedding venues in California — Gainey Vineyard, Buttonwood Farm Winery, Foxen Canyon Road barns — and most of them share one characteristic: they sit on two-lane rural roads where guest parking is limited and late-night navigation is genuinely tricky for out-of-town guests who've been at a reception for six hours. A Santa Maria wedding shuttle running loops between the hotel block in Santa Maria or Solvang and the ceremony or reception site keeps guests from driving themselves on unlit wine-country roads after dark — and keeps the wedding timeline from unraveling when half the guest list can't find parking at the venue. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party on the day itself; a minibus or 25-to-30-passenger party bus covers the guest shuttle circuit.
Because venue access on these rural properties is often single-lane, it's worth confirming bus dimensions with the venue in advance — a support team at 805-998-2860 can help you work through those details when you get your quote.

Simi Valley Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Santa Maria Valley AVA and the Santa Ynez Valley AVA together make this one of the most underrated wine-touring corridors in California — and the wineries are close enough together that a well-planned bus route can hit four or five in an afternoon without anyone backtracking. Foxen Winery & Vineyard (7600 Foxen Canyon Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454) and Byron Winery sit along the same Foxen Canyon Road corridor north of town, making them a natural two-stop opener. From there, the route drops south toward Los Alamos and the William James Cellars tasting room on Bell Street, then picks up whatever's open in Los Olivos on the return.
The critical thing: Foxen Canyon Road is a narrow two-lane with no shoulder in stretches, and some winery lots were not built with a 35-foot bus in mind. A minibus — which offers greater maneuverability on tight winery access roads — is typically the smarter fit for a Santa Maria Valley wine tour than a full-size charter bus. Find Santa Maria winery tour transportation options and call 805-998-2860 to map out the right vehicle for your stops.

Frequently Asked Questions About Simi Valley Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Santamariapartybuscompany.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Santamariapartybuscompany.com?
Santamariapartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation — not a bus company and not a motor carrier. It displays available vehicle types from a network of independently owned transportation companies serving Santa Maria and the surrounding region, so you can compare buses, sizes, and pricing in one place without calling each company separately. No account is required, and getting a quote is completely free.
How does Santamariapartybuscompany.com work?
Enter your trip details — date, group size, and where you're going — into the online quote form, and you'll see available vehicle options with pricing and photos in under 30 seconds. Rather than describing your trip to a dozen different companies over the phone, you fill out one form and compare everything in one place. If you'd rather talk it through, call 805-998-2860 any day of the year and a support team can pull options and pricing for your specific itinerary in about a minute.
How much does a party bus cost in Santa Maria?
Santa Maria party bus rental prices vary by vehicle size, day of week, total hours, and how far in advance you book. As a general planning guide: a minibus runs roughly $200–$275 per hour; a 25-passenger party bus runs $250–$375 per hour on weekends; and a full charter bus typically falls in the $200–$350 per hour range. Those numbers shift based on your specific date and route — call 805-998-2860 or use the online form to get a pricing estimate for your trip in about a minute.
The Santa Maria party bus prices page has more detail on per-day rates by vehicle type.
What's the difference between a party bus and a charter bus?
A party bus is built for the experience on the way there — perimeter lounge seating, LED lighting, a premium sound system, and flat-panel TVs. The ride itself is part of the event. A charter bus prioritizes forward-facing reclining seats, overhead storage, undercarriage luggage bays, and often onboard restrooms — built for comfortable point-to-point travel, not dancing.
For a winery tour or a birthday night out through Santa Barbara, a party bus typically makes more sense. For a long run to Los Angeles or a school field trip to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, a charter bus is usually the better fit.
Can a charter bus make it out to the Santa Ynez Valley wineries?
Most can — but the access roads matter. Foxen Canyon Road and some winery driveways north of Santa Maria are narrow two-lane routes with limited turnaround space at the tasting room end. A full 45-foot charter bus can be a tight fit at some of these properties.
A minibus or a mid-size party bus (25–30 passengers) is often the smarter pick for a wine-country tour where the vehicle needs to navigate private winery access roads and park near a tasting room. When you request your quote, the support team can help you match the right vehicle to your specific winery stops.
Is there parking for charter buses at the Santa Maria Fairpark?
The Santa Maria Fairpark (937 S Thornburg St, Santa Maria, CA 93458) does accommodate larger vehicles for events like the Santa Barbara County Fair, but parking availability and designated drop-off areas can shift depending on the event setup. Santamariapartybuscompany.com recommends checking the official Santa Maria Fairpark website for current event-day parking and bus access information before your visit. Arriving as a group by charter bus rather than in individual cars means your group gets dropped at the main entrance while the surface lots around Fairpark Drive fill up — and there's no scramble to find each other after the show.
What's the closest major airport to Santa Maria?
Santa Maria Public Airport (SMX) handles limited regional service. Most groups flying into the area use San Luis Obispo Regional Airport (SBP) — about 35 miles north on the 101 — or Santa Barbara Airport (SBA), roughly 40 miles south. For groups flying into LAX, the drive up the 101 runs about two and a half hours without significant traffic.
A charter bus or minibus that meets the group at whichever airport they land in and drives them directly to Santa Maria eliminates the rental car coordination and keeps everyone together from the first arrival to the final drop-off. See the Santa Maria airport transportation page for details.
How far in advance should I book?
For most trips, two to four weeks of lead time is workable — but the earlier you lock in a date, the better your vehicle selection and the less likely you are to run into a rate spike. Prom season (late April through mid-May) is the single busiest window for party bus demand across the Central Coast; booking by January is strongly recommended. Summer wine-country weekends and Santa Barbara County Fair week in late July fill out quickly too.
For any date you've already confirmed, the answer is simple: call 805-998-2860 today. Waiting costs you options.
Popular Simi Valley Party Bus Destinations
Santa Maria sits at the center of a genuinely excellent group-travel radius — wine country to the south and east, the coast to the west, and a straight shot up or down the 101 to San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara. Here are six destinations where arriving by bus changes the whole experience.

Chumash Casino Resort
Chumash Casino Resort (3400 E Highway 246, Santa Ynez, CA 93460) is the biggest draw for group nights out in the entire Santa Maria Valley — a full Las Vegas-style casino, multiple restaurants, a concert venue called The Chumash Casino Resort Showroom, and a hotel all on one property about 25 miles east of Santa Maria on Highway 246. The route takes you through the heart of wine country, and the casino's lot handles buses in a designated oversize vehicle area. The real reason groups prefer a bus: the late-night return.
After a long casino night, nobody wants to be the person who drove — and rideshare demand from a rural Santa Ynez location spikes badly on Friday and Saturday nights. A charter bus solves that entirely. See the complete guide to busing to Chumash Casino Resort for routing and drop-off detail.
Phone: 805-998-2860.

Santa Maria Fairpark
The Santa Maria Fairpark (937 S Thornburg St, Santa Maria, CA 93458) hosts the Santa Barbara County Fair each July — one of the most attended events in the region — along with concerts, swap meets, and private events throughout the year. Surface parking along Fairpark Drive fills early on fair days, and the surrounding residential neighborhood streets around Thornburg and McClelland see significant foot traffic once the lots cap out. A charter bus drops your group at the main gate on Thornburg Street while the parking situation sorts itself out, and picks everyone up curbside when the event ends — no one walks a half mile back to where they left the car.
The Santa Maria Fairpark bus guide covers drop-off routing in more detail. Phone: (805) 925-8824.

Foxen Winery & Vineyard
Foxen Winery & Vineyard (7600 Foxen Canyon Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454) is one of the most celebrated stops on the Santa Maria Valley wine circuit — a working ranch winery on Foxen Canyon Road with two tasting rooms: the original "shack" and the newer Foxen 7200 solar-powered facility next door. Foxen Canyon Road is a designated scenic byway north of Santa Maria with no shoulder in sections and limited passing room, which is why a minibus is a much smarter fit than a full-size charter bus for this route. Foxen's lot is unpaved and informal — a 35-foot coach is going to have a harder time maneuvering it than a 25-foot minibus.
Plan your winery tour to arrive mid-morning before weekend crowds build; tasting rooms along this corridor can get backed up by midday on Saturdays. Check Foxen's official website for current tasting hours before you visit. Phone: (805) 937-4251.

Pismo Beach
Pismo Beach sits about 35 miles north of Santa Maria on the 101 — a 40-minute shot up the freeway — and it's the most popular day-trip destination for Santa Maria groups looking for the coast. The Pismo Beach Clam Festival each October draws significant crowds to the Pomeroy Avenue pier corridor, where street parking disappears fast and the Hwy 1/Price Street intersection backs up in both directions. The main beach access parking lots along Dolliver Street hit capacity by midmorning on summer weekends.
A charter bus or minibus drops your group right on the Pomeroy Avenue waterfront corridor and picks everyone up after dinner — no circling, no lost cars. The Pismo Beach bus guide has more on event-day routing and drop-off logistics along the pier. Address: Pismo Beach, CA 93449.

Solvang
Solvang (1639 Copenhagen Dr, Solvang, CA 93463 — the main visitor area) is a Danish-themed village in the Santa Ynez Valley about 30 miles southeast of Santa Maria that draws over a million visitors annually. The downtown core is walkable and tight, which makes Solvang a natural multi-stop party: brunch at one of the bakeries on Mission Drive, a tasting room on Copenhagen Drive, wine shopping at one of the tasting bars that line the main drag. The visitor parking along 2nd Street and the municipal lot off Mission Drive fills up on weekend afternoons by early afternoon, and the narrow Copenhagen Drive corridor sees genuine gridlock during peak hours.
A minibus or Sprinter van drops your group on the edge of the walkable district and stages nearby, so no one's hunting for parking in a crowded village lot. The complete Solvang transportation guide has full detail on where buses load and stage. Phone: 805-998-2860.

Santa Barbara Bowl
The Santa Barbara Bowl (1122 N Milpas St, Santa Barbara, CA 93103) is a 4,562-capacity outdoor amphitheater set into the Santa Barbara foothills above the Eastside neighborhood — one of the most beloved intimate concert venues in California. It's also one of the more logistically annoying venues to reach by car: the surrounding residential streets are narrow, neighborhood parking is permit-restricted in several blocks, and the lot on Milpas Street fills before most shows start. A charter bus from Santa Maria — about 65 miles south on the 101 — handles the whole trip in one vehicle and drops the group on Milpas Street steps from the venue entrance.
Post-show, the bus is staged and ready to go while general lot traffic is still clearing. The Santa Barbara Bowl bus guide covers drop-off and load timing in detail. Phone: (805) 962-7411.
